Product Description
The vacuum induction melting furnace stands as a cornerstone in the realm of vacuum metallurgy, emerging as a pivotal tool widely employed across industries such as aerospace, missile development, rocket engineering, atomic energy, and electronics. This furnace has demonstrated its instrumental role in the production of critical alloys and special steels vital for these sectors. Notably, materials like nickel base, cobalt base, and iron base super alloys exhibit enhanced hot working and mechanical properties when subjected to the meticulous process of the vacuum induction melting furnace.
This furnace plays a pivotal role in melting a diverse range of materials, including stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, ultra-high strength steel, tool steel, bearing steel, as well as magnetic materials, elastic alloys, and expansion alloys. The adoption of the vacuum induction melting furnace ensures the precise control needed to guarantee optimal performance and quality of materials. A prime example is the consistent use of this furnace in melting processes across various alloys, underlining its crucial role in metallurgical advancements.
Examining the technical parameters of the vacuum induction melting furnace, the IM400-45KW medium frequency induction melting furnace with a vacuum chamber and stirring function takes center stage. Operating within a frequency range of 5-30kHz, it wields an induction power supply with a robust 45KW capacity. The vacuum chamber, crafted from #304 stainless steel, boasts dimensions of Φ400mm x 400mm. The comprehensive cooling system covers water-cooled electrodes, a water-cooled chamber, and water-cooled molds, ensuring efficient heat dissipation during operations. The furnace is equipped with a φ120mm main observation window, and its lifting platform offers a versatile 0 ~ 40mm lift range.
The furnace comes complete with accessories such as infrared temperature measurement and a vacuum funnel. Key interfaces include φ8mm quick connectors for water cooling and CF160 for vacuum operations, with an additional KF16 interface for exhaust purposes. The pre-pump, a rotary vane pump, achieves an ultimate vacuum of 1.0E-5Pa with a pumping speed of 1.1L/S or an appropriate pump. The vacuum measurement is facilitated by a compound vacuum gauge. The induction power supply operates on AC 220V 50/60Hz.
The furnace also integrates an electric mixer with a mixing speed range of 10-100 rpm, along with a feed pot. The crucible, fabricated from materials like alumina, magnesium oxide, or boron nitride, supports a maximum size of φ108mm x 135mm. With a power supply requirement of AC220V 50Hz or three-phase 380V, the total power handling and dimensions of the furnace stand at 1550mm x 700mm x 1400mm. The entire unit weighs 900kg, embodying a comprehensive solution for advanced metallurgical processes.
