The EQ-VGB-1 is a compact stainless steel glove box equipped with an Airlock Chamber, Gauges, and vacuum Flanges. This configuration enables the glove box to operate under vacuum conditions, effectively removing moisture and oxygen without the need for costly inert gas purging. Product Description
The EQ-VGB-1 glove box is designed for precise and controlled environments. It features a robust construction with a case made from 11-gauge (3mm thickness) 304 stainless steel sheet, complete with a sturdy frame, ensuring its suitability for vacuum operations. The dimensions of the glove box chamber are 555mm(L) x 444mm(W) x 414mm(H). It can withstand pressures of up to 810 Torr (1.1 atm) but should not operate under pressures exceeding this limit. The glove box can achieve a maximum vacuum level of 0.5 Torr, although caution is advised as higher vacuum levels may lead to deformation of the stainless steel case. It maintains a leakage rate of less than 6 Torr per hour within the glove box.
The air-lock chamber within the glove box has dimensions of 200mm(ID) x 270mm(L) and can reach a maximum vacuum level of 0.05 Torr. Two vacuum flanges are included to facilitate vacuum operations, eliminating moisture and oxygen without the need for inert gas purging. A KF-25 connector is available at the back for connecting humidity monitors or other testing equipment.
Inside the main chamber, a power extension socket with a maximum power rating of 1500W is installed. It comes with a 110V power cord for immediate use, while no plug is included for 208~240V power supply.
A pair of Latex Gloves is provided for immediate use, with an optional upgrade to 6'' Butadyl® gloves available. These gloves offer increased stretching, bending ability, tear strength, and resistance to various chemicals.
The glove box does not include a vacuum pump or fittings, but a KF25 Vacuum Right-Angle Valve is necessary for connecting to a vacuum pump. The product's overall dimensions measure 1186mm(L) x 480mm(W) x 490mm(H). It is covered by a one-year limited warranty and offers lifetime support for added peace of mind.
