Nano Fiber Electrospinning Unit NFES-040B

SKU: MND-134226
Model: NFES-040B

NFES-040B Electro-spinning equipment is a compact version for Nano fiber Electro spinning. A unique support structure made of steel pipes is provided along with the equipment which when screwed and fixed together can be used as a sturdy support for the Nano fiber electrospinning unit.

 Product Description

The nano fiber electrospinning unit is a sophisticated apparatus designed to optimize functionality and user-friendly operation. It incorporates several key features to ensure precision and safety during the electrospinning process. The inclusion of cabin heating capabilities, driven by a 1000-watt coil heater, allows for temperature control up to 45°C, creating an ideal environment for the electrospinning process. Static concerns are effectively addressed through the integration of a Residual Charge Discharge Stick within the chamber, while a safety switch automatically deactivates the high-voltage power supply upon opening the unit's door, prioritizing user safety. Clear visibility of the needle tip and the electro-spinning process is facilitated by LED cabin lighting with a backlit feature.

The unit's versatility extends to its coaxial spinneret, a distinctive feature enabling the production of both Hollow nanofibers and Core/Sheath nanofibers. This innovation allows for the blending of different polymer characteristics into a single fiber, broadening the range of possible applications. Precision in operation is heightened by a graduation scale on the granite surface, aiding users in achieving consistent results by marking positions for the syringe pump and target in both X and Y directions. User-friendly software facilitates PC interfacing, providing seamless control over critical parameters, including Rotating mandrel speed, Spin Duration, Syringe pump flow rate, and XY target movement.

The electrospinning unit is further equipped with Rotating Mandrel targets of varying diameters, a Stationary target, and a Reciprocating XY target, ensuring adaptability to diverse electrospinning requirements. Safety and real-time monitoring are enhanced by the inclusion of a system hood, featuring essential components such as an exhaust fan, halogen lighting, and a transparent door. The transparent door allows for easy observation of the electrospinning process, while the built-in Arc Protection Circuit adds an extra layer of safety.

Delving into the specifications, the nano fiber electrospinning unit, designated as NFES-040, integrates a high-voltage power supply with an adjustable output voltage range of 0 - 30kV and a maximum current capacity of 0.5mA. Front panel knobs enable users to easily set output voltage and current, with digital panel meters providing real-time readings. The power supply operates in both constant current and constant voltage modes, with built-in ARC Circuit Protection for added safety. The independently controlled dual-channel syringe pump, represented by the SPLF4 model, allows for precise control over two dual-channel syringe pumps, accommodating varied speed and flow rate adjustments. This syringe pump's compatibility with standard disposable or glass syringes, ranging from 2.5 to 60ml, adds to its versatility. To support fiber deposition, the unit incorporates rotating mandrels with a speed range of 300 to 4000rpm, ensuring stability with minimal speed deviation. A Y Plate Collector and Stationary Target facilitate controlled nano fiber deposition, offering flexibility in application.

Ensuring a controlled electrospinning atmosphere, the unit is complemented by a fume hood (FH-02 model), safeguarding users from pollutants arising from solvent evaporation. The hood, featuring transparent side walls and a front door shield made of float glass, provides visibility of the electrospinning process. The tabletop's construction from granite ensures easy cleaning, and the unit is epoxy-coated for electrical insulation. Accessories include normal glass syringes, glass syringes with tube connectors, spare needles, and Teflon tubes, while an optional UV Curing Lamp (10W, 254nm) enhances post-spinning processes. Coatings on the chamber's glass surfaces protect against harmful UV radiation, prioritizing user safety.
