Unlike other options in the market, our unit guarantees a consistent diameter with no irregularities, offering a reliable platform for diverse applications. The equipment is packed with features to streamline the electrospinning process. It incorporates cabin heating capabilities, reaching temperatures of up to 45°C through a powerful 1000-watt coil heater. Safety is paramount, with the inclusion of a Residual Charge Discharge Stick for effective static removal and a safety switch that promptly deactivates the high-voltage power supply upon opening the chamber door.

 

For enhanced visibility and monitoring, the unit is equipped with LED cabin lighting and backlights, illuminating the interior for a clear view of the needle tip and the electrospinning process. The exhaust fan serves a dual purpose, aiding solvent vaporization during operation and cooling down the equipment after spinning. To address unforeseen emergencies, an emergency stop button is conveniently located on the control panel for rapid equipment shutdown. The coaxial spinneret stands out as a noteworthy feature, enabling the production of both hollow nanofibers and core/sheath nanofibers. This technology allows for the blending of different polymer characteristics into a single fiber, expanding the possibilities for nanofiber applications. Precision is a key focus, with a graduation scale thoughtfully placed on the granite surface in both the X and Y directions, assisting users in marking positions for the syringe pump and target to ensure consistent results. The user-friendly software facilitates seamless PC interfacing, enabling control over critical parameters such as rotating mandrel speed, spin duration, syringe pump flow rate, and target movement.

 

The unit's versatility is evident in its range of targets, including rotating mandrels of varying diameters, a stationary target, and a reciprocating vertically moving target, catering to diverse electrospinning needs. The system hood is equipped with essential components like exhaust fans, halogen lighting, and a transparent door, allowing real-time monitoring of the electrospinning process. Safety is further enhanced with a built-in Arc Protection Circuit. Our nano fiber electrospinning unit, NFES-040, boasts comprehensive specifications, featuring a high-voltage power supply with a wide 0-30kV output voltage range and a maximum current capacity of 0.5mA. Users can easily set and monitor output voltage and current through front panel knobs and digital panel meters. Safety features include a static removal device in the form of a shorting stick, operating in both constant current and constant voltage modes, and built-in ARC circuit protection. The independently controlled dual-channel syringe pump, SPLF4, provides flexibility for customized fiber fabrication. It enables precise control of two dual-channel syringe pumps, offering adjustments to speed and flow rate on both channels.

 

The syringe pump's computer-controlled movement along the X-axis, with a maximum travel distance of 200mm, accommodates standard disposable or glass syringes ranging from 2.5 to 60ml. Safety under high-voltage conditions is ensured with a syringe holder made of insulating material. Motor control, managed through a microcontroller, provides accurate flow rate control. The system also incorporates a four-syringe dispensing system and PC-based control with documentation of parameters such as syringe diameter, flow rate, and spray duration. A manual height adjustment platform allows for variable pump height according to the target. Rotating mandrels, serving as targets, enable the creation of an aligned continuous mesh of nanofibers. Speed stability, with minimal deviation of +/- 1%, is guaranteed through grounding via a carbon brush contact. The high-speed rotating mandrel assembly, RM-01, is compatible with MN series mandrels of various diameters. The unit offers a Y plate collector for versatile use as a stationary target or Y plate collector, constructed from stainless steel. Achieving uniform fiber density is facilitated by Y translation stages on the target and X movement on the syringe pump, controlled through software commands.

 

The system includes two types of spinnerets: the needle spinneret, promoting smooth nano fiber flow through flat-tipped metal needles connected to high voltage via metal clips, and the coaxial spinneret, enabling the simultaneous flow of two different solutions. For a controlled electrospinning environment, the unit incorporates the FH-01 fume hood, providing an enclosed chamber to shield users from pollutants generated by solvent evaporation. Transparent side walls and a front door shield made of float glass allow users to monitor the electrospinning process. High-intensity lighting from an optional halogen lamp and a granite tabletop for easy cleaning enhance the functionality of the fume hood. The unit comes with accessories such as normal glass syringes, glass syringes with tube connectors, spare needles, and Teflon tubes. An optional UV curing lamp with a 10W 254nm UV light can be added for curing spun fibers, with special coatings on the chamber's glass surfaces reflecting harmful UV radiation for user safety.
