Magnetic suspension vacuum melting furnace MSMF-40

SKU: MND-134176
Model: MSMF-40

The magnetic suspension vacuum melting furnace MSMF-40 is suitable for the study of ferromagnetic materials. It uses a 40KW high-frequency electric induction heater and a specially developed water-cooled copper crucible to heat and melt and at the same time cause the vacuum quartz tube to generate magnetic force to suspend the ferromagnetic alloy sample .

 Product Description

Introducing the Magnetic Suspension Vacuum Melting Furnace, model MSMF-40, tailored for the exploration of ferromagnetic materials. This innovative furnace employs a powerful 40KW high-frequency electric induction heater, coupled with a specially crafted water-cooled copper crucible, to heat, melt, and simultaneously generate magnetic force within the vacuum quartz tube, suspending ferromagnetic alloy samples. This unique process allows the machine to produce high-purity iron or magnetic alloys within an environmentally friendly, non-polluting setting.

The MSMF-40 boasts crucial technical parameters, offering a maximum vacuum pressure of 10^-2 torr with a mechanical pump or an impressive 10^-4 torr with a molecular pump. Noteworthy features include an automatic up-and-down movement in the bottom flange for easy sample loading. The induction heater operates on either 380V or 460V three-phase AC, with a current rating ranging from 5-20A. With a maximum output power of 40KW and an output frequency spanning 50-200 KHz, the induction heater requires a water flow rate of over 16 L/min to ensure efficient cooling.

The copper crucible, a key component of this furnace, exhibits specific dimensions with an outer diameter of 38mm, inner diameter of 23mm, and division into 12 equal parts. It accommodates a capacity of 3mL, capable of handling a maximum load of 20g of ferrous metal or alloy. The copper crucible is equipped with a built-in water cooling device, demanding a water flow rate of 40L/min for optimal performance. To maintain ideal operating conditions, the furnace includes a chiller operating on a power supply of 208-240V AC, with a maximum input power of 2100W. This chiller ensures a maximum water flow rate of 58L/min and allows precise temperature control within the range of 5-35°C.

Product specifications outline a furnace size of 1200mm × 800mm × 1654mm, with a weight of 260kg. Standard accessories accompanying the furnace comprise the induction heater, a quartz tube (Φ50mm × 300mm), a copper crucible, a vacuum flange, and a chiller. These components collectively enhance the furnace's capabilities and usability, making the MSMF-40 a versatile and advanced tool for the exploration and study of ferromagnetic materials in a controlled and environmentally conscious setting.
