Product Description
This machine is a Vacuum Rapid Heated Pressing Furnace (VRHP or RHP) designed for making dense pallets under vacuum or the protective gas environment. The Vacuum Rapid Heated Pressing Furnace is equipped with several key technical parameters. It has a maximum pressure capacity of 5 metric tons (10 MPa as displayed on the pressure gauge). The furnace features a hydraulic electrical presser with a piston diameter of 60 mm and a vertical movement distance of 35 mm. It includes an automatic pressure controller for precise operation. For induction heating, the furnace operates at a working voltage of 208-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz (three-phase), with 380V three-phase available upon request. The working current is 40 A (with a 60 A breaker), and it has a maximum input power of 15 kW. The output frequency ranges from 30 to 80 kHz, with an 80% duty cycle. The furnace can reach a maximum working temperature of 1600°C (max duration time: <30 min) and an ultimate temperature of 1700°C (<1 min), though prolonged exposure to this temperature may damage the thermocouple. It features air cooling with a fan and various protective mechanisms, including water pressure monitoring, high-temperature protection, and overpower protection. The temperature controller operates at a working voltage of 208-240 VAC, single-phase. It's equipped with a precision digital temperature controller featuring automatic PID tuning. This controller offers temperature profiles with a maximum of 30 programmable segments for precise heating, dwelling, and cooling control. Additional protection includes overheating and thermocouple failure protection, ensuring accurate temperature control with a temperature accuracy of ±3°C using a B-type thermocouple. The furnace's continuous working temperature range spans 1000-1600°C, with a lower temperature range (300-600°C) available upon request. The furnace has impressive heating and cooling rates, with a maximum heating rate in a vacuum reaching 4°C/s (4 mins 50 seconds from room temperature to 1200°C) for the 0.5" inner diameter graphite pressing die. In contrast, experimental cooling rates in a vacuum range from 3.5°C/s to 0.06°C/s depending on the temperature. The processing chamber and sealing flange consist of a stainless steel vacuum-sealed chamber measuring 260 × 230 × 320 mm (OD × ID × L). Flanges on both ends of the chamber feature tunnels for cooling water and are equipped with a KF-25D vacuum port, pressure gauge, and a 1/4" gas inlet port with a stainless steel needle valve. The upper flange is adjustable for easy access to retrieve the graphite die. The furnace requires a water flow of at least 55 liters per minute. A digital pressure gauge provides a maximum pressure display of up to 10 MPa. The furnace comes with a high-temperature graphite pressing die set featuring built-in graphite supporting rods with a maximum pressure of 50 MPa. It includes a set of 0.5" (inner diameter) graphite die for immediate use. The furnace's dimensions measure 800 × 800 × 1300 mm (L × W × H), and it has a net weight of 350 kg. Note: A two-stage pressure regulator is required for the gas cylinder to limit the pressure below 3 psi for safe operation.
