Distinguished by its versatility, the electrospinning machine incorporates a cabin heating system reaching temperatures of up to 45°C, facilitated by a powerful 1000-watt coil heater, ensuring optimal conditions for fiber production. The chamber is equipped with safety features, including a Residual Charge Discharge Stick for static removal, a safety switch for high-voltage deactivation when the door is opened, and LED cabin lighting for clear visibility of the needle tip and electrospinning process. An exhaust fan serves dual purposes, aiding solvent vaporization during the process and cooling equipment post-spinning. In emergency situations, a conveniently located emergency stop button ensures rapid equipment shutdown.

 

The system boasts precision with a granite surface featuring a graduation scale in both X and Y directions, aiding users in achieving consistent results by marking positions for syringe pumps, the target, and rim rotator. Software control facilitates precise regulation of parameters, including mandrel rotating speed, duration, syringe pump flow rate, and XY stage speed. The Lab nanofiber electrospinning machine offers a variety of target options, from rotating mandrel targets of varying diameters to a Y-stage target and a stationary plate target. The inclusion of a coaxial spinneret allows the production of hollow nanofibers and core/sheath nanofibers, providing the flexibility to combine different polymer characteristics into a single fiber. A stand-alone fume hood enhances safety and process monitoring with features such as an exhaust fan, halogen lighting, and a transparent door. The built-in arc protection circuit ensures operational safety.

 

The machine's comprehensive set of specifications includes a power supply operating on 208 to 240 VAC single phase, a dual output range from -15kV to +15kV, and a maximum power consumption of 1500W. The high-voltage power supply supports constant current and constant voltage modes with a built-in arc protection circuit. The dual-channel syringe pump system allows independent speed control and accommodates standard glass syringes. The system includes various collectors for electrospinning, nanofiber collection, and flat film coating, all microprocessor-controlled for adjustable speed and stability. The rotating mandrels contribute to creating an aligned continuous mesh of nanofibers. Additional features include a lamp heater, a stand-alone fume hood, and centralized software control that connects to a laptop or Surface Pro.
