The Hi-Throughput Spray Pyrolysis System, designed for applications in battery electrodes and perovskite solar cells, presents a range of precise technical specifications to enhance material exploration at an accelerated pace. Operating within a power input range of 208 - 240VAC at 50/60Hz, single phase, and a total power consumption of 3000W, this system is equipped with two spray nozzles: a compressive air spray nozzle for thick film coating and an ultrasonic spray head with a 150W 120Khz generator, suitable for solutions with a viscosity of less than 30 cps. A digital FMC ensures constant pressure delivery of compressive gas to the spray nozzle.
The system incorporates four syringe pumps, three for mixing and coating solutions and one for cleaning, with a standard syringe capacity of 60 ml. These pumps offer adjustable line speeds ranging from 1 µm/min to 120 mm/min with an accuracy of ±0.5% when exceeding 30% FS. Control options for the syringe pumps include self-digital control panel or main touch screen control panel operation. Solution mixing is facilitated in a heatable vacuum chamber constructed from stainless steel, measuring 650 x 600 x 500mm, achieving a maximum vacuum limit of 20 torr using an included mechanical pump.
The precision X-Y-Z travel mechanism within the vacuum chamber enables localized coating, with travel distances for the X-Y and Z axes reaching 200mm Max and 60mm Max, respectively. Adjustable travel speeds range from 1mm/s to 12mm/s. The chamber features a substrate plate with 36 cylinder masks, each measuring 18mm in diameter, and a heating plate at the bottom for pyrolysis treatment. The system is controlled through a 7" touchscreen panel on the chamber's front, programming and controlling all spraying parameters. It offers programmable vacuum time and inert gas purging time, along with adjustable flow rates and spraying times in the three syringe pumps to each cylinder mask, allowing for 36-position coating automatically. With dimensions of 1100L x 730W x 1500H mm and a net weight of approximately 1000 Kg, the system includes a one-year limited warranty, lifetime support, a demo before purchase, and is CE certified for safety and quality compliance.
