Electric arc melting furnace with electromagnetic stirring
Electric arc melting furnace with electromagnetic stirring (Quartz chamber) is a cheap and small vacuum arc melting furnace with tungsten electrode and water-cooled copper crucible. The melting temperature of the equipment can exceed 3000℃, and then the temperature is quickly reduced. The transparent quartz chamber can be used to observe the melting of the sample at 360 degrees. MSM-130B is a high quality and inexpensive experimental tool for sample smelting, heat treatment, and the phase diagram study.
Product Description
Introducing the MSM-130B electric arc melting furnace with electromagnetic stirring, a cutting-edge product designed for precision in handling melting samples. This furnace model boasts impressive technical parameters and features, making it a versatile tool for advanced metallurgical processes. With a capacity to handle up to 10 grams of melting samples, this furnace achieves an exceptional temperature capability of up to 3000°C.
The design incorporates a transparent quartz cavity with a protective cover, allowing for a comprehensive 360-degree observation of the sample melting process. The furnace is equipped with a water-cooled copper crucible and an adjustable melting gun angle, providing flexibility in experimental setups. The vacuum interface features a flexible bellows for a secure seal. To measure the pressure inside the chamber, a mechanical pressure gauge is installed, with an optional digital display anti-corrosion vacuum gauge also available.
The arc power system operates on a 380VAC, three-phase input voltage, with a maximum input current of 10A (requiring a 40A air switch). Controlled by a push-button switch, the output voltage/current is 22.6V/315A (DC). The furnace is designed with a 4mm diameter tungsten electrode with water cooling on the head, enabling adjustable electrode gun angles to smelt multiple samples. The furnace's meltable sample amount is less than 10 grams, and it can achieve a temperature capability of up to 3000°C.
Featuring a water-cooled copper crucible with four work stations (each measuring Φ25mm × 7mm), the furnace offers customization options for copper crucibles of various sizes based on customer requirements. The quartz chamber dimensions are Φ168 × 136mmH. The furnace body measures 500mm in length, 450mm in width, and 720mm in height, while the power supply dimensions are 460mm in length, 306mm in width, and 305mm in height.
Standard accessories include one set of the melting furnace host, one Argon arc welder, one chiller, one furnace frame, and one vacuum pump. Optional accessories include suction casting parts, with various vacuum pump options to achieve specific vacuum degrees (e.g., 10^-2 torr with a mechanical pump, 10^-5 torr with a molecular pump system). Additionally, an optional water chiller, such as the 5000 circulating water chiller, is available to provide cooling for the arc gun and copper crucible during equipment operation, with specific water pipe specifications of 12mm outer diameter x 8mm inner diameter. This electric arc melting furnace sets a new standard for precision and adaptability in metallurgical research and experimentation.
