The double-sided roll-to-roll (R2R) coating equipment is tailored for the precise coating of materials such as nickel batteries and super capacitors. Employing a dip-coating slurry and scraper metering, the equipment ensures continuous double-sided coating of the substrate in a single pass. Operating on a working voltage of 208 - 240 V AC at a frequency of 50/60Hz in a single-phase configuration, the equipment boasts a maximum power consumption of 3 KW, requiring a 20A air breaker for optimal performance. With a coating thickness precision of +/- 0.003mm, the coating method employed guarantees exceptional accuracy. The equipment offers a maximum coating width of 250mm, allowing for thickness adjustments within the 0-5mm range.
Post-drying, the coating thickness typically falls within the 30 - 200um range, subject to variations based on the physical properties of the coating material. Notably, the thickness precision remains remarkable at ± 3 µm, ensuring high-quality and consistent results. The adjustable coating speed, ranging from 0 to 750 mm per minute, provides flexibility in the coating process. Achieving a maximum drying temperature of 150°C with a temperature accuracy of ±1°C, the heating zone extends over a length of 710mm (28 inches), ensuring even and consistent temperature control during coating.
The equipment features a reeling/unreeling shaft with an inner diameter of 75mm and a maximum diameter for reeling/unreeling set at 250mm. In a typical scenario, for a 10um thick foil with a 100um coating, the equipment can coat up to 600 meters of electrode length per run. The exhaust port size is 127mm O.D. Compressed air at a pressure of 0.5-0.8 MPa is required for operation, though it's noteworthy that an air compressor is not included with the system.
