With a maximum heating temperature of 200 °C, this coater is specifically tailored for the precise coating of polymer films and conductive ceramic films in laboratory settings. The substrate is securely fixed through vacuum adsorption, ensuring stability during operations, and an activated carbon filtration system on the top safeguards the laboratory environment.
Operating at 208-240V AC and 50/60Hz, with a power consumption of 1500W, this coater is an ideal choice for laboratory applications. The heatable vacuum platform features an aluminum alloy vacuum chuck with micro-sized holes, measuring 250mm in width and 400mm in length. The integrated heating elements within the chuck can reach temperatures up to 200ºC, while a digital temperature controller with +/-1ºC accuracy ensures precise temperature control.
The coater comes equipped with a film applicator featuring a built-in pushing bar for the micrometer adjustable applicator, offering convenience and flexibility in the coating process. The applicator, 180mm in width, includes a micrometer adjustable head for immediate use. The system is powered by a 24VDC motor that continuously moves the pushing bar to the desired position, and it can be used within an Ar gas glovebox. Achieving a minimum film thickness greater than 10 microns, this coater caters to diverse coating needs with a maximum coating area of 350mm in length and 250mm in width, maintaining an accuracy of +/-0.01mm in film thickness.
Customizable traverse speed and distance enhance precision, with variable travel speed from 0 to 80mm/sec and adjustable travel distance from 0 to 400mm. Safety and cleanliness are prioritized through the inclusion of a top cover and filter system. The active carbon filter and venting fan within the top cover eliminate organic vapor, ensuring a safe and clean laboratory environment. Despite its advanced capabilities, this compact laboratory coater remains highly portable, weighing only 40 kg (90 lbs), making it a versatile and efficient tool for laboratory coating processes.
