The spray pyrolysis film preparation method, involving the atomization and spraying of a solution onto a heated substrate to achieve a desired material structure, is seamlessly executed by our independently developed ultrasonic spray pyrolysis equipment. This advanced unit, designated as the Automatic Ultrasonic Spray Pyrolysis Coating Unit (model USP130-B), incorporates a 40KHz 130W ultrasonic sprayer, PID temperature-controlled substrate heater plate, high precision peristaltic pump, and precision programmable stepping motor moving mechanism. The integrated design enables precise control over crucial parameters such as solution quantity, spray particle speed and size, and substrate temperature, catering to a diverse range of experimental needs.
This coating unit finds its application in the deposition of oxides, with a historical use in transparent electrode preparation. The method has evolved and is now extensively employed in the production of perovskite solar cells. Operating on an AC220V, 50Hz supply voltage, the unit has a maximum power consumption of 3.5KW, including 1.5KW for the compressor and peristaltic pump components. The 40KHz, 130W ultrasonic sprayer is adept at handling liquids with viscosities ranging from 1 to 50mPa·s (cP). The unit offers flexibility in nozzle movement, allowing strokes in the X-Y-Z axis up to 190mm, with adjustable speeds of 10-180mm/min in both the X-axis and Y-axis directions. The substrate heater plate, measuring 150mm×150mm, achieves a maximum temperature of 500℃, regulated through AI-PID temperature control.
With two dispensing tanks (50mL and 250mL capacities), the peristaltic pump provides a dispensing rate ranging from 0.006 to 41mL/min, offering versatility for various applications. Control of the unit is facilitated through an industrial computer and instrument panel interface. Compact and efficient, the unit measures 850mm×850mm×1450mm in dimensions, making it an ideal solution for ultrasonic spray pyrolysis coating applications.
