The roll-to-roll coating machine is a highly versatile piece of equipment designed for the precise coating process of both positive and negative electrodes, catering to lithium iron phosphate, lithium cobalt oxide, lithium manganate, and similar systems. Its broad applicability is complemented by a range of technical parameters that enhance its functionality.
This coating machine efficiently handles substrates of varying thicknesses, accommodating aluminum foil within the range of 11 to 30 microns and copper foil spanning 8 to 30 microns. The maximum coating width reaches 280mm, making it suitable for diverse materials. The machine operates with a maximum speed of 5m per minute, offering remarkable speed accuracy at ±0.1m/min. Its capability to surpass 5m/min is particularly advantageous for materials with slurry viscosities ranging from 1500 to 15000 Cps. The single-sided dry thickness for coating is adjustable within the range of 30 to 200µm, ensuring flexibility in coating applications.
Ensuring high precision, the machine boasts double-sided accuracy for dry thickness of less than ±0.004mm and single-sided dry thickness accuracy of less than ±0.002mm. Front and back coating alignment errors are minimized to less than ±0.5mm, with an average length error within ≤±0.5mm. The coating roller maintains exceptional accuracy at less than ±0.001mm, utilizing a comma knife design for the scraper. The core of the machine features a 3-inch shaft, and precise temperature control is maintained in the oven with an impressive accuracy of <±3℃. The two side-by-side ovens, each measuring 500mm in length, allow separate temperature control for enhanced flexibility.
The machine operates with a power requirement of 6KW, utilizing a continuous coating method. Its mobility is a key feature, facilitated by four universal wheels, ensuring ease of movement for enhanced convenience in various settings.
