The 15TC-1, a 7KW induction melting system with a temperature controller capable of reaching temperatures up to 1700°C, is a versatile and precise solution for various applications. Equipped with an array of features, this system offers a temperature controller with a precision digital interface, allowing automatic PID tuning and programming of 30 segments for meticulous control over heating, cooling rates, and dwell times. Ensuring safety through protective measures such as overheating and thermocouple failure protection, the system maintains temperature accuracy within +/- 3°C. The continuous working temperature range spans from 1000°C to 1700°C, offering flexibility for diverse melting applications.
Powered by a working voltage of 208~240V AC, 50/60Hz, Single Phase, the 7KW induction heater draws a working current of 34 Amps (requiring a 60A breaker) and supports a maximum input power of 7 KW. The output frequency is adjustable between 30 and 80 kHz, featuring an 80% duty cycle. Air cooling, facilitated by a rear fan, complements the automatic water pressure, over-temperature, and overload protection mechanisms.
Constructed with safety and durability in mind, the system includes a refractory assembly crafted from alumina, encompassing bottom crucible support, crucible holder, and cover. Pressure sensing is managed by an anti-corrosive capacitance diaphragm gauge, with a measurement range extending up to 3.8x10E-5 torr. The system is further supported by a 24V, 1A DC adapter, compatible with input voltages ranging from 110V to 240V.
Efficient cooling is facilitated by a water chiller operating within a temperature range of 5 - 30°C, with a water flow rate exceeding 16 L/min and a 12-liter stainless steel water tank. A heavy-duty mobile cart provides a stable platform for the induction heater and quartz tube with flange.
Enhancing safety, the system includes protective shielding, with a phenolic sheet shield for the Non-UL Certified version and a clear polycarbonate shield for the UL Certified version, designed to contain glass shards in case of accidents. The product dimensions include the induction heater, water chiller, and the heavy-duty mobile cart.
The 15TC-1 is covered by a one-year limited warranty with lifetime support, with the acknowledgment that consumable parts are not covered. Additionally, users are provided with essential application notes and safety guidelines for optimal system usage and compatibility with specific samples.
