1600X-FS3KW is a horizontal tube furnace with 3KW programmable AC power source designed for exploring the flash- sintering for ceramic materials at a lower cost.The tube furnace comes with 80mm OD alumina tube and a sliding sample fixture, which can preheat sample up to 1600oC. The Sample holder will press electric wire to the sample via ceramic screw to pass through programmable AC power source which is programmable up to 1500W power. Flash-sintering is an new technology which is used widely in the research of solid state electrolyte, SOFC and fero-magnetic & Thermo-electric materials.

The tube furnace is meticulously crafted for precision and versatility, operating within a voltage range of 208 - 240 VAC and 50/60Hz, with a maximum power consumption of 5.2 KW. It stands as a robust thermal workhorse, offering a continuous working temperature of 1600°C, with the capability to reach a maximum temperature of 1700°C. The heating zone spans a generous 18" (457 mm), featuring a constant temperature zone of 6" (150 mm) with an impressive accuracy of +/- 1°C. Temperature control is seamlessly achieved through PID automatic control via solid-state relay, incorporating 30 programmable steps with an accuracy of +/-1°C. The furnace ensures operational safety with built-in protection against over-temperature conditions and thermocouple failure, utilizing a B-type thermocouple.
Critical components such as the vacuum sealing flanges and sample fixture are constructed from durable stainless steel, enabling the attainment of a vacuum level of 10-2 torr using a mechanical pump and an impressive 10-5 torr with a turbo pump. The left-side flange is thoughtfully equipped with a 30 mm diameter quartz observation window, a needle valve with a 1/4 NSP connector, while the right-side flange features a KF25 vacuum port for seamless connection to a vacuum pump. It includes two platinum electric wires feedthrough, a needle valve with a mechanical vacuum gauge, and a conveniently slidable sample fixture for effortless sample loading.
Adding to its versatility, the tube furnace incorporates a programmable AC power source for rapid heat production and high-density sample sintering after pre-heating. The input voltage requirements are AC220V±10%, 50/60Hz, single-phase, with a power capacity of 3000 W max. The output voltage is adjustable between 50V and 300V with ≤1% stability, while the output frequency is fixed at 50/60Hz with ≤0.01% stability. Comprehensive protections against overload, over-temperature, and short circuits are integrated into the system. The package includes a laptop pre-installed with software for easy program settings.
Measuring 1950 mm in length, 500 mm in width, and 720 mm in height, with a total weight of 150 kg, the tube furnace is designed to meet rigorous demands. CE certified, the product is backed by a one-year limited warranty with lifetime support, though consumable parts such as tubes and O-rings are not covered by the warranty.
