15 KW (30-80KHz) Desktop Induction Heater
50K-15AB is the 15KW induction heating power supply of the SP series vacuum induction melting system
Product Description
The 15 KW (30-80KHz) Desktop Induction Heater is a robust technical solution designed to meet specific requirements. It operates on a 3-phase working voltage of 208-240V AC, 50/60 Hz. The system's maximum input current is 52A, necessitating a minimum 60A breaker for safe operation. A power cable is included, although a plug is not provided. The output frequency is adjustable between 30-80 kHz, with a heating current range of 200-600 Amps. The maximum input power capacity is 15 KW, boasting a duty cycle of 100%. The system allows for a maximum distance of 2 meters between the heater and controller and can accommodate samples weighing up to 1 kg. The device offers versatile timer control, allowing users to choose between automatic and manual control modes. Manual control can be facilitated using a foot pedal, with customizable settings for automatic heating time, dwell time, and cooling time, all adjustable within a range of 1-99 seconds. Efficient water cooling is achieved with a flow rate of >10 L/Min and a minimum pressure of ≥0.2 MPa (29 Psi). While tap water is a viable cooling option, the use of a Recirculating Water Chiller is strongly recommended for optimal performance and additional protection, including safeguards against overpressure and over-temperature. It's important to note that the Recirculating Water Chiller should be ordered separately. The system includes an induction coil, although the copper coil is not provided as part of the package. A digital display is incorporated into the design, showing output power and current for enhanced monitoring. In terms of dimensions, the product measures 18"(L) x 8"(W) x 17"(H). It comes with a one-year limited warranty accompanied by lifetime support. However, it's essential to be aware that consumable parts such as coils, fittings, and clamps are not covered by the warranty. Finally, a cautionary note highlights the importance of preventing internal circuitry damage. It advises users not to allow the inductive current to exceed 800 A during operation and to limit the maximum time duration for running the unit at the 600~800 A working current range to 60 seconds or less. The net weight of the device is 28 kg (62 lbs).
