16:0 PC (DPPC) is a phospholipid molecule consisting of a palmitoyl (16:0) fatty acid chain attached to the sn-1 position of a glycerol backbone with a phosphorylcholine headgroup. It is a major component of biological membranes, contributing to their structural integrity and fluidity.
