 Product Description

18:1 (Δ9-cis) PE (DOPE) is a phospholipid molecule composed of a glycerol backbone, two fatty acid chains, and a phosphate group. It belongs to the class of phosphatidylethanolamines and contains a cis double bond at the ninth carbon atom of one of its fatty acid chains.

Application:

18:1 (Δ9-cis) PE (DOPE) is commonly used as a lipid component in liposome formulations for drug delivery and as a substrate in biochemical assays for membrane studies. Its unique structure and properties make it valuable in research related to cell membrane function and lipid bilayer interactions.
