1100°C Hydrogen Gas Tube Furnace with 60mm Superalloy Tube with Hydrogen Detector System
1200X-60HG is a safe hydrogen tube furnaces The processing tube is made of high quality Ni-based superalloy which never crack and broken at flowing Hydrogen gas. One 3M hydrogen detector is included which will shut down Hydrogen gas generator and gas inlet valve immediately once detecting hydrogen gas leaking . The tube furnace is designed for processing material under hydrogen gas up to 1100°C safely. Also, the furnace can be used for all kind of inert gasses and oxygen gas up to 30 PSI. The precision temperature controller is 30 segment programmable.
Product Description
The hydrogen gas tube furnace, model 3.0 KW, features a robust double-layer steel casing with air cooling to maintain a furnace surface temperature below 60°C. Its high-purity fibrous alumina insulation ensures maximum energy efficiency, complemented by a hydrogen detector and solenoid valve for enhanced safety measures. The furnace, operating at a maximum power of 3.0 KW and AC 208-240 Single Phase at 50/60 Hz, achieves a maximum temperature of 1100°C in less than an hour, maintaining a continuous temperature of 1000°C. The processing tube, constructed from nickel-based super-alloy seamless material, withstands temperatures up to 1200°C, with dimensions of OD 60 x ID 52 x Length 1000 (mm).
Equipped with a gas-outlet flowmeter, the furnace allows precise adjustment of the gas flow rate, and a 1/4" diameter stainless steel tube facilitates the burning of hydrogen gas during flow, with manual ignition provided by an included long lighter. PC control and data monitoring are facilitated through an RS485 port, with a PC control module and software included for computerized temperature control. The constant temperature zone spans 150 mm with a precision of +/-1°C, controlled by a PID automatic system with 30 programmable segments and automatic over-temperature and thermal broken protection.
The heating element, made of Fe-Cr-Al alloy doped by Mo, ensures efficient operation. The furnace dimensions are 550 x 380 x 520 mm, with a net weight of 50 Kg. Flanges and gas inlet comprise two sets of CF-63 flanges, enabling high vacuum up to 10E-5 torr and 30 PSI positive pressure. Safety features include a solenoid valve for hydrogen gas inlet connected to a hydrogen detector, shutting down the gas inlet valve in the event of a hydrogen gas leak (10% below the explosive point). The hydrogen detector system operates within a temperature range of 40ºF to +149ºF, with an alarm set at H2 Limited Explosive Line 10% (10% LEL).
The furnace is covered by a one-year limited warranty for electrical and mechanical parts, with optional features like laptop, software, and WiFi control available upon request at an additional cost. These features, compatible with CY's Temperature Controller, allow users to edit temperature profiles, manage heat-treatment recipes, and record and plot data. A wireless remote control with a 300-meter operating range is included in this advanced system. Operating conditions and safety measures should be carefully considered, with alumina tube furnaces designed for use under vacuum and low pressure (<0.12 atm absolute pressure). Gas flow rates should be limited to less than 200 SCCM (or 200 ml/min) to minimize thermal shocks, and a two-stage pressure regulator is necessary to maintain safe gas pressure below 3 PSI. The vacuum limit for all quartz tube furnaces is up to 1000°C.
